WIN A CHANCE TO BECOME A FOOD CRITIC
TERMS & CONDITIONS
- The competition is open to those aged 18 and over, based in the UK.
- The deadline for entries is 1 April 2007.
- The entries will be read by our all-star judging panel including Terry Durack, Sunday Review food writer Skye Gyngell, Glenfiddich’s David Hume and Chris Wood of www.toptable.co.uk.
- Full name and contact details are required.
- The judges’ decision is final and correspondence will not be entered into.
- The winner and two runners-up will have their reviews printed in The Independent on Sunday Review Magazine on 13 May and on www.glenfiddich.co.uk and www.toptable.co.uk.
- The winner and guest will also be invited to the presentation of the 2007 Glenfiddich Food and Drink Awards in central London on 14 May where they will receive their award from Michelin-starred chef Tom Aikens.
- The prize also includes dinner for two at his restaurant and a night at The Pelham, a deluxe hotel in Kensington. The winner will also accompany former Restaurant Critic of the Year, Terry Durack, on an official restaurant review, and receive a 70cl bottle of the following: Glenfiddich Special Reserve 12 Year Old, Glenfiddich Solera Reserve 15 Year Old and Glenfiddich Ancient Reserve 18 Year Old.
- Flights to London and transport to and from the hotel will not be included.
- Two runners-up will have their reviews printed and will receive a 70cl bottle of Glenfiddich Solera Reserve 15 Year Old.
- Only one entry per person is allowed.
- Entries are not permitted from any company related to the competition including The Independent On Sunday, William Grant & Sons Ltd, Toptable.co.uk, and Wild Card.
- The prize is non-negotiable and no cash equivalent will be offered.
